Stakeholder engagement has been at the heart of the SAVE project both in working with appropriate partners and suppliers to work on the project and in the physical running of the trials in a cost reflective and benefit maximising manner.
Through the support of stakeholder organisations SAVE has ensured the design and results of its trials have considered the views of impacted third parties from across the electricity spectrum, government, customer focus groups, academia, utilities, council, housing associations and wider industry. The project thanks each of these stakeholders for their input which contributed to SAVE winning the Network Awards Stakeholder Engagement Initiative of the year award 2019.
